Why Did You Decide to Become a Dentist?

Dr. Elliott’s journey to becoming a dentist started during her first year at Texas Tech University. While shadowing a pediatric dentist, she saw firsthand how much a dentist could positively impact someone’s life. Inspired by that experience, she knew she wanted to pursue dentistry as a career where she could make a meaningful difference in people’s lives every day.

Where Did You Study Dentistry?

After completing her undergraduate studies at Texas Tech, Dr. Elliott attended UT Health San Antonio for dental school. She then went on to complete a residency program in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. This specialized training equipped her with the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality, comprehensive care to her patients, all while focusing on their comfort and long-term dental health.

Outside of the Dental Office, What Do You Like to Do?

Outside of the dental office, Dr. Elliott enjoys a wide range of activities that keep her grounded and inspired. She has a passion for her flower garden, baking for the Holidays, and often spending time trying new recipes in the kitchen. She also loves being outdoors, hiking the trails in San Antonio. One of her favorite ways to unwind is by spending time with her husband, Trent, and their three dogs, Dot, Moose, and Murphy. Growing up, Dr. Elliott raised livestock for the County Fair for shows, which gave her a strong sense of responsibility and instilled a deep appreciation for animals—values that continue to shape her today.
